They gather critical skill sets such as leadership, communication skills, public speaking, strength training, mental endurance, health competitive/competition, team building and bonding.

We believe that having a foundation in organized sport can and will add value to your life. The skills garnered from avid athletic participation tends to assist unconsciously, in the positive development of our youth. We endeavor to enlighten, highlight and fortify the basic skill sets taught in sports participation. It is our attempt to strengthen the character, confidence and point our youth in the proper direction to attain any and all of their personal goal.

Mr. John L. Trahan

Managing Partner

Mr. John L. Trahan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Colorado based P.O.W.E.R. Organization; a multi -service industry corporation. John was an “All American”, Wide Receiver at the University of Southern Colorado. He graduated with a degree in Mass Communications and went on to short career in the NFL after completing his degree. John has been a successful business owner for over twenty years in Denver Colorado. He began coaching youth track and field in 2001 coaching several State Regional and National Champions. In 2008 he was hired as the Head Track and Field Coach of a Denver high school and helped coach his team to a 5a State Championship in his first year as a high school coach.  In 2010 he agreed to take over the worst high school football program in the state of Colorado. In a four year time frame the program which had lost every game the year before John took over which also had a team 1.6 grade point average; improved to a playoff team in four years. The team raised its grade point average from 1.6 to 3.1 during that time. Teaching life lessons is the key to impacting young people.  John is married to Susan and they have two children Salina and Jarrell.

Mr. Derrick Fuller

Managing Partner

Mr. Derrick Fuller, has worked in banking for over 20 years. He currently serves as a Senior, Vice President and District Manager for a prominent financial institution. He manages the Aurora District and six banking locations with an asset size of over $750 Million in deposits.  He is an alumni of the University of Denver, were he had a successful and award winning basketball career. Derrick is passionate about financial literacy and youth. Derrick uses common sense applications to convey most of the crucial information.   He feels that by constructing a firm foundation and showing both positive and negative aspects of finance, we are able to educate our youth to be well informed, clever, wealthy and productive members of our community. He married his college sweetheart and will they are the proud parents of two teenagers.

Mrs. Susan Trahan

Administrative Development

Susan a native of Colorado attended Denver Public Schools and graduated from George Washington HS. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Clark Atlanta University and the University of Northern Colorado and University of Phoenix at Denver awarded her with master’s degrees in education. Susan has been an Early Childhood Education teacher with Denver Public Schools for over twenty-five years where she has educated more than 1,000 students. While being an educator of ECE students, Susan was very involved with establishing the PTO/PTA at the schools where she taught because she believes in parents, teachers and the community working together to build a stronger future. Her efforts did not go unnoticed, she received the Mile High Teacher of the Year Award, Celebrating Families –Student Award, Sisters-in-Service Beacon of Light Award, Essential Piece Greenwood PTA Award, Salute to Excellence in Education Award, and DPS Distinguished Teacher Award. Susan is the wife of John and the proud mother of Salina and Jarrell. Salina is a full-time college student majoring in education and Jarrell is a middle school student.

Mrs. Jerilyn Hitch-Fuller

Mrs.  Jerilyn Hitch-Fuller is the eldest of two children and native of Colorado. She attended DPS Schools through her formative years and finished high graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School.   She attended Metropolitan State University and graduated with a duel degrees .She joined Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, Gamma Omicron Chapter in Denver.   In 2000, she with several other Sigma’s established Sisters In Service, a federally recognized non-profit organization, design to provide resources to young people who are reaching towards higher education. They offer awards and stipends to qualified financially challenged youth, who plan to attend a college, university or trade school with-in the state of Colorado. With the help of their generous sponsors, to date SIS has been able to assist 110 youth toward attaining their higher educational goals. Jerilyn has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President since SIS’s inception.
